i was thinking about the concept of human relationships and i came to the conclusion that they should actually be called human experiments. the truth is that every interaction we make with the outside world is really an experiment. as newton's third law says: for each action there is a reaction. that's the main reason we act, we want the other person to react. most of the times we try to predict, but, at the same time, we feel the thrill of being wrong. my question is: is this some kind of fundamental assumption about living or people don't really think about it that much? shouldn't we be clear about our intentions, about our purpose?
" well hello there, my name is Ian. i'm twenty-three years old. I was around that corner observing you, taking my notes and i would like to pursue an experiment on you. it's something i've been thinking a lot lately and i find you the perfect candidate. I want to study the complex paradox of a love-hate engagement. my preliminary observations indicate you have about 50% characteristics i may like and another half i potentially dislike. as you may know, i can't predict the actual outcome of this trial, since you may have participated in others, you must know the flaws of the experimental procedures. So, after all this, are you willing to be my guinea pig on this?
